Sewing School: Full Bust Adjustment

Welcome to another installment of Sewing School: Full Bust Adjustment!

This FBA post is finally ready! From technical difficulties, to illnesses, to all the fabulous busyness here at 5 out of 4 Patterns, it’s had to take a momentary backseat. No more, I say, NO MORE!

The Full Bust Adjustment is a necessity adjustment for many women and there are many way to achieve it.  We will be presenting one way to achieve this adjustment.  It’s amazing how this adjustment enhancing the fit of a garment for those that need it!

I can say for two of my daughters this adjustment has been a lifesaver.  It’s amazing how the fit of a garment changes when one learns how to adjust for the needs of individual bodies.

Be sure to download the attached FREE PDF if you have questions as to whether or not you need this adjustment and written step by step instructions for those that prefer the written word opposed to video. Let’s do this!!

      If you look right above the video and click on where it says “Full Bust Adjustment,” the PDF should download to your machine. Let us know if you have any other issues!

    Just wanted to add that you need to measure your side seam after bringing that waist in.
    If it has become longer or shorter, you need to adjust it back to the original length to fit the side of the back piece
