For YEARS I’ve wanted a warm yet stylish winter coat that I could wear over my sweaters! Ruby is everything I’ve ever wanted! Ruby is roomy enough to pull on over my regular winter clothes, but not so giant I could fit another person in there with me. Ruby features classic peacoat styling with instructions for traditional double breasted buttons, loop and button (if you’re terrified of buttonholes!) or even toggles! You can keep it simple by making Ruby unlined in a stable knit (helllooo fleece!) or go all out with a beautiful lined wool coat! With is multiple front closure options, three pocket choices and either a hood or a collar, Ruby can be customized in so many ways to reflect your style and weather!

The Ruby Peacoat includes:

• Women’s sizing XXS – 5XL
• Mid-thigh or knee lengths
• Unlined for knits or Lined for both knits and wovens
• 3 front closure options: traditional buttons, button and loop or toggles
• 3 pocket options: side seam, patch or welt
• 2 neck finishes: 3 piece hood or oversized collar
• Instructions for fitting and videos for tricky steps

This listing is for a downloaded PDF sewing pattern, NOT a finished product.  Your download should immediately pop up after purchasing, but you can also log into your account at any time and download the package again.  Your downloads will include a professionally drawn pattern with trimless pages (now with diamond corner markers) and layers.

The pattern pieces included are formatted for 8.5×11, A4 (typically outside of the US) and A0 printers.  A projector file is also included.  We’ve even included a projector file so all of the pieces are on one page AND there is a 1″ grid on its own layer! Please remember to NOT use the A4 pattern unless you are located outside of the US and own an A4 printer and A4 paper.  The A0 pattern is specifically designed for large format printing.  You have permission from 5 out of 4 Patterns to have this pattern printed at your local copy shop.  The projector file is for projectors only.

The separate tutorial download includes hyperlinks to help you navigate to whichever options you’re interested in doing.  It also includes professionally drawn images for each tutorial step as well as pictures for steps that might be a little tricky.  We take great pains to make the tutorial as clear as possible!

The Women’s Ruby Peacoat pattern includes sizes XXS-5XL.  The size chart and fabric requirements are listed in the last images.
