Just like store bought, only better quality! And you can make them in those cute novelty prints especially for him. With flat felled seams, these boxers look just as nice on the inside and are comfortable too! Quick to make and your guy will be so happy you made something for him!

Awesome pattern! Simple and quick to sew and hubby says they are the most comfortable boxers he’s ever worn. Best bit, no bottom seams to burst. Happy customer here! ?

This pattern is easy to follow and I was successful with my first practice pair. The measurements of guy I am sewing for are currently at the very top end of a small and low end of a medium, so I made a medium. The fit of the finished boxers is perfect for comfy pajamas shorts, which is what he wants them for.
I have searched for a pattern for this style (back panel, functional button) boxers for a while and took a chance on this pattern. The common sense of the pattern and ease of directions made sewing these a breeze. However, I do sew frequently and have a fair amount of experience. Honestly, though, the directions were so clear that I think a beginner would also be successful.
Thank you for an excellent product that fit my needs perfectly. I’m going to cut into my fabric right now to make a second pair!

Well the pattern… yes is lovely but I may be really an idiot because I couldn’t figure it out to save my life how to read it. I am sure once I do, which honestly I have been reading the damn thing three days…..well I am sure when I do finally understand it, and just then it will look fu***inktastic.
I am more of a visual gal and love videos but I am not very gifted in the pattern reading thing. God job to those that did! The patter itself is super nice so I cant blame the pattern for my stupidity. If you can read patterns fairly easily this one is super good.
In the meantime, I will try to decipher it…..

This pattern was easy to follow and the results were great! I did make a couple of minor changes. I made a rolled casing at the top (adding an inch and half at the top of the pattern) and instead of a flat-felled seam in the crotch, I did a French seam and then sewed it down.
I teach fashion design at the local public high school and initially tested the pattern to see if it was something that my students would be able to make. While I think that it is a bit advanced for the beginning students with the flat-felled seam, but my intermidiate students shoiuld be able to handle it without a problem.
Testing it, I have made numerous pairs out of quilters cotton and flannel.

I made three pairs of boxer shorts from this pattern in 100% dressmaking linen. Huge hit with my young adult sons who wear them to sleep in. The linen has softened with time and because of the back panel and flat seams there aren’t any obvious signs of wear even though they have been worn daily for over two years now. I love this pattern but it is not the simplest, would only recommend for an experienced confident sewer.
