This is great. Can you tell me how to deal with the weight of say Double brushed knits on a size 30 5xl client
One thing is I traced a palazzo pants to make on active wear thicker fabric and the inseam (crotch) came up short and the waistband like your video rides mid rear

Lighter weight fabrics show every lump and bump and generally aren’t recommended as bottoms unless they are loose and flowy. Some people do make pants with heavier weights of dbp, just keep in mind that it can be a bit revealing. As for the crotch and waistband riding low, it sounds like you will need to increase the front and back rise to start. It is difficult to guide without photos to assess fit.
