Let’s talk about the GUSSET! I remember the first time I added a gusset to a pair of Ninja Pants. My life will never be the same. Gussets are wonderful things that takes the stress off of a seam and give a greater range of motion. Here are 5 out of 4 Patterns we have an added gusset pattern piece a few of our patterns. These patterns include the Ninja Pants, the Little Ninja Leggings and even our Shenanigan Skorts.
We’re going to talk about two types of gussets in today’s tutorial.
The full gusset and the half gusset. The half and full gusset installation are slightly different due to their shapes and placement.
The full gusset is in the shape of a diamond, as you can see below.
The half gusset is a triangle and cab be seen below.
