This is a great pattern with an easy to follow tutorial. I love the contrast band option. The contrast bands really give the pullover a fitted look, which I love. The zipper instructions are fabulous and really took away any fear that I had of working with zippers. I’ve made four of these pullovers, and I feel like I still need more!

The Ascent pullover is a fabulous pattern, easily pieced together with clear instructions resulting in a garment that looks great on. It’s comfortable without sacrificing fit and style with clear directions to adjust patterns to get the exact fit for your body. There are several options to create many unique, one-of-a-kind combinations that reflect your individual style and personality. I love that with just a simple change in fabric choice the Ascent can go from lounge-wear to active-wear. I think that is true for many 5out4 Patterns; they are so versatile – you get several patterns in one!

Awesome pattern for nursing moms! I wish I’d found these earlier. This one has the option for discreet hidden zippers in the contrast seam for nursing! I also love the zippered pockets. So many options in this great sweater. Make it casual and cozy with inexpensive fleece, or go for a more luxurious fabric for a completely different pullover! The tutorial is easy to follow and the line drawings are simple and clear. Additional photos are addd for clarity. These patterns are super easy to put together also. No trimming necessary!

Another great pattern from 5outof4. The Ascent pattern is easy to follow with many options: zippered pockets, discreet nursing option, solid or contrast. You can create so many individualized pullovers with this pattern. This can be made as a warm fleece or a lightweight pullover! I love that this pattern is no trim with layers so you only print what you need. You won’t regret this purchase!

Wonderful pattern! The nursing option is a dream. Although invisible zippers can be challenging for beginners (or those like me who avoid them!), the instructions are great and Facebook support was awesome. Now I’m looking for a chance to use my invisible zipper skills. Since I’ve made two, they are in constant rotation. I get compliments on them just about every time I wear them. Talk about a great pattern. You’re comfy, practical with nursing, and cute! Woohoo!
