The Versatility tank top and pants is for any time of day and any type of activity!
The Kid’s Versatility Tank includes:
- Unisex tank top,
- Sports bra, and
- Shelf bra tank top.
The pattern for the pants includes cut lines for shorts, capris, and pants and has options for a yoga waistband or elastic. There is also a pattern piece to include a cargo pocket.
The pattern is available for sizes 2-18.

The pattern pieces included are formatted for 8.5×11, A4 (typically outside of the US), Projector, and A0 printers. Please remember to NOT use the A4 pattern unless you are located outside of the US and own an A4 printer and A4 paper. The A0 pattern is specifically designed for large format printing. You have permission from 5 out of 4 Patterns to have this pattern printed at your local copy shop.
The separate tutorial download includes hyperlinks to help you navigate to whichever options you’re interested in doing. It also includes professionally drawn images for each tutorial step as well as pictures for steps that might be a little tricky. We take great pains to make the tutorial as clear as possible! We’ve even included links to our YouTube channel, where you can find video tutorials on certain steps.
The pattern requires knit fabric and other notions include 1″ elastic for the pants (or you can do a yoga waistband) and 3/4″ elastic for the bra option.

This is a great pattern, especially for your tweens. It’s hard to find patterns with built-in bras for girls but this tank and bra fit well and my girls love to wear them. My girls enjoy wearing their Versatility sets for pajamas and casual wear in the summer. There are many ways to use this set – it’s true to it’s name and very versatile based on your fabric choices and the length options included. Highly recommend this pattern!
