When I tried on my first Charlotte Peplum, my son looked at me and said, “Wow! You need to wear that out with Daddy.” The style made me feel like a character right out of the ’40’s and I was ready to go swing dancing. I wanted to put my hair in rollers and then pin it up. I think I’d look a little like Agent Carter from Captain America.
The Charlotte Peplum and Dress includes:
- Women’s sizing XXS – 5XL
- Regular and Full Bust Adjustment (FBA) pattern pieces
- Multiple sleeve options: sleeveless, puff short or elbow-length sleeves, and regular short, elbow, 3/4, and long sleeves.
- Four skirt lengths – peplum, knee-length, tea-length, maxi length
- Optional pockets
- Optional ruched waistband

This listing is for a downloaded PDF sewing pattern, NOT a finished product. Your download should immediately pop up after purchasing, but you can also log into your account at any time and download the package again. Your downloads will include a professionally drawn pattern with trimless pages (now with diamond corner markers) and layers.
The pattern pieces included are formatted for 8.5×11, A4 (typically outside of the US) and A0 printers. A projector file is also included. We’ve even included a projector file so all of the pieces are on one page AND there is a 1″ grid on its own layer! Please remember to NOT use the A4 pattern unless you are located outside of the US and own an A4 printer and A4 paper. The A0 pattern is specifically designed for large format printing. You have permission from 5 out of 4 Patterns to have this pattern printed at your local copy shop. The projector file is for projectors only.
The separate tutorial download includes hyperlinks to help you navigate to whichever options you’re interested in doing. It also includes professionally drawn images for each tutorial step as well as pictures for steps that might be a little tricky. We take great pains to make the tutorial as clear as possible!
The Women’s Charlotte Peplum and Dress pattern includes sizes XXS-5XL. The size chart and fabric requirements are listed in the last images. This pattern does not include a modesty panel. We recommend using the tank or bra from our Cecilia Bra, Top, and Dress pattern if you would like extra modesty.

Loved this pattern, I’ve made both the peplum top and the knee length dress. The fit is super flattering, and there are loads of sleeve options to get the right fit and look for what you would like.
I was worried about the edging on the wrap top, but the instructions were really clear and I didn’t have any problems getting a great result.

Jessica did it again, and designed a fun, flirty, and flattering top. Perfect for every season, and clever construction details make the fit work out well.
