Starly and I have been talking about adding pockets to the Adventure Skort since its release. This is going to be a multi-part series covering a few options. Today, I’m going to send you over to Sew Starly to read a blog post on how to add a patch pocket to the shorts. I like her method because it will keep your phone secure.
This is the last day to post a picture in our Facebook group for our Adventure Contest. We don’t have a lot of entries so far, so the odds are pretty good. Grab your Adventure Skort and take some pictures. It’s that simple!
Have some ideas of types of pockets you’d like to see on the Adventure Skort? Leave a comment and I’ll try to write a tutorial for it.
Next up, I’ll be posting a tutorial for adding a zippered pocket to the skirt. Stay tuned!
Hop on over to Starly’s blog to read how to add a perfect pocket for your phone…
Hi, the link to the pockets doesn’t work .. I know it’s a few years on but I came here using the link in the pattern that I’m trying to sew up!
Sorry for the late response. I assume you’re referring to Sew Starly’s blog post. If so, it appears that website is no longer available. I’m so sorry. I’ll def need to get this post edited.
I would love to see a tutorial for cargo style pockets to attach to the skirt portion of the adventure skort
