NEED THE PATTERN?
It’s going to be a fun week and we’re going to cover EVERYTHING!
FIRST, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE PATTERN:
HERE’S SOME MORE INFO:
The Ninja Pants and Little Ninja Leggings include all of the following FOR FREE:
- Adult Sizes XXS through 5XL
- Kids’ Sizes 0-3m through 14.
- Multiple cut lines based on inseam plus capri length and full length.
- Options for full diamond shaped gusset, half triangle-shaped gusset(kids’ only), or no gusset.
- Elastic or Knit band waistband
There are lots of leggings patterns available and a lot of them are free. Not all of them offer the gussets and not all of them offer video tutorials to show how to measure your kids and how to install the gusset correctly. Here at 5 out of 4, we take pride in providing inclusive sizing and a range of resources to help you become the best sewist possible.
Day Three we’re completing the gusset and inseam! I’ll be showing the full gusset, half gusset and no gusset options and how to complete each.
Here’s your DAY THREE video tutorial:
Timestamps are as follows so you can get where you need to be quickly:
- Full Gusset: 00:16
- Half Gusset: 9:14
- No Gusset: 14:37

I never thought to sew the gusset in with two separate seams for the two angled sides. I always try to do it in one and don’t always catch the center points. Thanks for the tip!
