OK so this was my first sew a long live. I didn’t realize it was just downloaded, not an actual live video. Good to know if I can’t make it in time for one in the future. I appreciated to see how Laura cut out the material. I realized I didn’t have one of the back pieces, and didn’t have the neck band. I don’t know how I missed those, but will go back and find them. I also realized that I was about to cut on the grainline not the stretch line, I always get confused on that, but I think I am starting to get it. Finally I loved how Laura used two different fabrics. I haven’t thought about that, nor looked at my fabric that way, but it made me stop and re-think my design. I am going to try to use some scraps to make this. I’m so excited!
I’m so glad this is helpful to you! Let us know if you have any issues and we’ll help as much as we can! Have FUN!
Thank you Laura! As I have stated this is my first sew along, I love that I can catch it and watch and review as many times as needed on areas necessary. Now to start laying out my pattern pieces 🎉
