I’m so excited about our latest addition. Fleece pullovers are a staple in my wardrobe, so I knew I wanted to be able to make my own. Now I’m even happier because we came up with a way to give it a nursing modification!
The Women’s Ascent has the following options:
- Solid version
- Contrast panels on the sides and sleeves
- On seam invisible zip pockets. On the contrast version, these are moved forward, off the side seam, so they are in a more natural position.
- 9″ or 12″ zipper options
- Invisible zippers can be placed on the seams for the contrast version to make discreet nursing a possibility!
While the pattern was made with enough ease to wear it comfortably over a shirt, I typically wear mine over just a camisole. This was the idea behind the nursing option as well. If you pair it with your Versatility or Agility nursing tanks, you’ll be good to go while you’re out and about with your little one. I wish this had been around when I was still nursing my kids!
I LOVE the different ways my testers styled their versions this time. The contrast panels offer so many choices. One of our testers even wrote a tutorial on how to add a small pocket inside the sleeve contrast for holding small items such as cash, credit cards, or identification. You can check out her tutorial at Enlee Designs.
The Women’s Ascent Fleece Pullover is on sale through Tuesday, November 17th!
