Let’s get down to the details

Check out our FB Event for more info!
Date: Monday, March 9 thru Sunday, March 15
Where: Right here on the blog, in the Facebook Group and on Youtube!
What to expect:
I’ve separated the tutorial into five parts. Each day, Monday – Friday, we’ll tackle one of the parts. Be sure to check our Facebook group for the daily thread where you can posts your day’s progress for a chance to win a 5 out of Patterns Gift Card.
Here’s the Schedule:
Monday: Print, Assemble, Cut Pieces, and Fabric. This would also be a great time to read over the tutorial paying special attention to the fitting section on pages 15-17
Tuesday: Back and Back Pockets (pages 18-19)
Wednesday: Front and Front Pockets (pages 20-22)
Thursday: Side Seams, Cargo Pocket, Inseam and Hem (pages 22-28)
Friday-Sunday: Waistband and Finishing Up (pages 29-32)
Monday I pick a winner and you’ve got a new pair of pants, capris or shorts.
Something to Note:
Making a muslin is super important. Why? Because it give you an opportunity to assess fit challenges and to get your questions answered BEFORE you cut into your good fabric. Use a fabric that is similar in weight and stretch to your final fabric choice.
That is all! We hope to see you next week. We’ll be at the ready to answer all your questions and help you along the way.
As always, we’re here to help if you need it! Join us HERE and on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and Pinterest. We’re everywhere you are.

I’m super excited! This is my first time participating in a Sew-A-Long. I’ve got my pattern printed and 3 yards of a denim-look french terry all laundered and ready to go!

I love the fitting & tin foil posts. I learned so much from these. Trying to adjust patterns scares me (what if I mess up?!). I love how 5our provides videos for those of us who are visual learners. AND NO ADS!!! Thank you!!
