We love our Brand Ambassador Team and we want you to get to know them! This team is comprised of many of our “mega-fans” and they spend a lot of their time helping us promote our patterns. Each ambassador brings their own unique selves to the table and we love watching what they do. So, we wanted to take some time on the blog to highlight one ambassador every now and then. Eventually, you’ll know them all, if you don’t already.

How She Got Started
Jenni has always sewn. As a child, she sewed up Christmas ornaments and doll clothes. She sewed more in middle school with home economics and 4-H and even made a dress for her 8th-grade graduation. (Which she still has in a box somewhere!)
She began to start sewing with knits when her firstborn was a baby and wanted to sew comfortable things for him to wear. She was introduced to pdf patterns by indie designers right around the time her fourth child was born: 9 years ago. Since then, she has sewn almost every free minute she has because she absolutely loves it!
Some things that keep her sewing are the “me” time she gets, having something pretty when she finishes a project, and the community she has in all of the 5 out of 4 groups that she is a part of that make everyone feel supported and encouraged.

5 out of 4 Experience
She loves 5oo4 because the patterns are practical and are what she and her family wear anyway. The inclusive size range and the fact that each pattern has so many options is a bonus too! She has sewn up 118 of the 197 patterns that 5oo4 currently has. She has a goal to sew them all and I’m sure she’ll make it happen! Her favorite kids’ pattern is the Bethany Swim Shorts, because all of her little kids love them. She has made them in pretty much all the lengths, both for boys and girls, and uses them all the time for swimming lessons! For men, she loves the Halftime Hoodie (she loves the kid’s version too.) Her favorite women’s pattern is the Diane Joggers because they are so comfortable. (Especially in bamboo fleece.) French Terry is her favorite fabric to work with because of how easily it glides through her machines, but she also enjoys sewing with wool, rayon, and bamboo.

More About Jenni
Jenni is a Classical homeschool mom of six: five boys and a girl. Right now they are between the ages of 7 and 15. Her girl is the youngest, and she is a twin. They joke that they had to have twins to finally get their girl! She sews for herself, her kiddos, and occasionally her husband. Garments are her favorite items to sew, but she is also starting to try out bags a little. Her personal sewing goal this year is to become better at making personal fit adjustments for her own body.
