Today is Day 1 of the Agility Tank and Dress Sew A Long. We are going to be printing the pattern and cutting out fabric. Go ahead and decide which option(s) you will be sewing up and if you haven’t already, go ahead and print and assemble your pattern.
If you are making the sports bra only, you will need to cut the follow pieces:
- Bra Front
- Bra back
- T-back (omit if you are making the strappy back version)
- Binding (follow cut-chart in the pattern on page 14 for T-back or page 15 for strappy back)
If making a nursing sports bra, you will need to cut a nursing layer in addition to the pattern pieces above. Binding measurements for the nursing layer are on page 16 of the pattern.
If you are making a tank or dress, you will need to cut the following:
- Bra Front
- Bra Back
- T-back (omit if you are making the strappy back version)
- Front Overlay OR Maternity Front Overlay
- Back Overlay
- Binding (follow cut-chart in the pattern on page 14 for T-back or page 15 for strappy back)
If you are making banded tank option you will need to cut the band using the cut chart in the pattern found on page 17. If you are doing the optional drawstring for the tank, you will need to follow the cut chart in the pattern on page 17.
For Nursing tank or dress, cut the following:
- Bra Front
- Bra Back
- T-back (omit if you are making the strappy back version)
- Nursing Layer
- Front Overlay OR Maternity Front Overlay
- Back Overlay
- Binding (follow cut-chart in the pattern on page 14 for T-back or page 15 for strappy back)

[…] Similar to the Women’s Agility, the Girls’ agility pattern includes a sports bra and overlay tank and dress. It also includes both a slim fitting tank and an A-line tank and can be made with a T-back or strappy back. Any of these options work well as a swim top. The tank versions are great for younger or undeveloped children while the sports bra with overlay options can provide a little more support if needed.
