I can’t believe it’s our 8th Anniversary. I remember the very first pattern I tested for Jessica. The Versatility Tank and Pants patterns was not just my first 5oo4 test it was also my first testing experience EVER!! I remember being very nervous and self-conscious about the fit and my body. Fortunately, Jessica was, and still is, accepting and encouraging and that experience sparked a now nearly 8 year friendship with a mutual obsession with sewing, fabric and fun.
As you probably know, it didn’t take long for everyone to get the message that 5 out of 4 Patterns was the real deal. We’ve never JUST been about patterns. Community and acceptance has always been top of mind when thinking of our part in the sewing world. We quickly realized that we’re all better together. That’s it! There have been ups and downs but we’ve grown closer as a community.
