It doesn’t matter which holidays we celebrate this time of year we need to wear things on our bodies. HAHAHA! So, in honor of this time of year I’ve compiled a list of my favorite women’s patterns of 2019. Welcome to the 2019 Gift Guide: 10 Women’s Patterns for a Fab Holiday.

1- Women’s Piper Peplum
When Jessica was designing the Piper Peplum and told me she was adding a handkerchief hem for the women’s version, I was all, NO THANK YOU. However, I decided to use it in a Sewing it Up Video I produced and, well, it’s awesome and I love it. This one’s a keeper and don’t get me started with how much I LOVE the hood.

6- Sally Skirt
The Women’s Sally Skirt is a skirt. That’s not that exciting, so why should you think about it? I mean, I can tell you that it’s so much more than a skirt, but is that true or is that the art of modern marketing? Sally will make you feel successful at 11pm when you have something that requires a skirt the next day. So Sally equals success. Sally also makes you feel like you finally understand physics after a year of high school when all you remember is going to the amusement park. How is that so? Because Sally holds your hand as you walk through step-by-step and create an awesome knot waistband. New to sewing garments? No problem. No one will ever believe you when you show them Sally. Sally–whether it’s Sally Ride, Sally Field, or Sally Beauty Supply…none of those will have your back like the Sally Skirt.

My favorite is the Nancy Raglan.
A favorite 5oo4 pattern? Hmmm, I am going to choose the Sandra even though I haven’t made mine yet. It’s my next me sew. Choosing the fabric is going to be the easy part. It has so many great options I’m going to want to make lots of them in all the fabric!
I love the reversible Riptide Shorties! And so many others!
Nancy Raglan is my long time favorite. I’m excited to make the Annabeth sometime soon though!
You had a hard time choosing ten and we have to pick 1?! 🤣 Just because I’m currently making them, I’m going with the pajama pants 👍🏻
The Knot Your Average Shirt and Dress Is my favorite. I’ve made it 3 times this year
Currently the hoodies: Annabeth and Halftime Hoodie. But it might just be the time if year 🙂 I’m sure I’ll have a new favorite in the spring!
I just discovered your patterns thanks to the Sewing Summit, so i haven’t made anything yet. But I’ve got the Sandra all downloaded and just need fabric!
I haven’t bought it yet but I’m loving the Sandra Tunic. I’ll be ordering it & sewing it up soon. This list is awesome.
