Choosing gifts for the men in my life can be frustrating. When I ask what they’d like it’s either something outrageously expensive or they refuse to tell me. If your friends and loved ones are anything like mine they’ll love something handmade. Welcome to the 2019 Gift Guide: 10 Men’s Patterns You Need this Holiday Season.

3- Men’s Halftime Hoodie
The men’s Halftime Hoodie was inspired by men who kept asking, “When are you going to sew something for me?” Some other ideas for the name were, “Here’s Your Dang Hoodie” and “Yes, I Intend to Steal Your Hoodie When You’re Not Looking.” I’ve made several of these for my husband and myself and they’re fantastic. Comfy, warm, practical… the list goes on and on. Add a cut file and make them even more fun!

Its not a specific gift, but the best gift from my partner is anything he picks out on his own to get me not by asking me what I want.
My husband got me a sewing machine one year, that was pretty great!
Lisa Frank Unicorn Leggings. I like making my own but these fit great and I could have never achieved the look on my own accord. The unicorn stretches across both legs. Plus they are way more exciting at the gym than boring black like everyone else!
Love these great men’s ideas! The best gift I ever got from my husband was my sewing machine! At the time, I hadn’t sewn in years but after the birth of our son and discovering PDF patterns and custom fabric, I was HOOKED. He still regrets the gift. Lol. 🙂
The best gift I’ve ever gotten from my man, my 3 beautiful kids. :))
Last year my husband got me a sewing machine…. This year I got fabric (early) 😂
He got me my first cutting mat last Christmas, it really made my new sewing hobby that much MORE enjoyable!
My husband bought my sewing machine and my serger as presents! Different years of course, but both were surprises 🙂
My husband is a gifter. He loves purchasing me new appliances for the kitchen, as well as new machines and things for my sewing room. He has purchased all my machines (I think maybe Christmas, birthday, and pre-Christmas). The sewing machine and serger were a while back, so I don’t completely remember. And for my birthday this year, he gifted me a cricut and heat press. Plus, when I ask him if I can buy fabric for “x project,” he usually says, “Sure. What are you looking at? Why don’t you get this one too?…” He’s definitely a keeper.
I got a Superman sweatshirt.
A new phone! And sushi hahahaha
Gift cards to fabric stores!
I got a lovely warm snuggly dressing gown, that I’m still wearing 15 years later.
Trip to Vegas.
Material wise: jewelry
Spiritually: our 3 wonderful children
My first sewing machine. He was the one who started me on this wild ride of sewing 6 years ago!
My hubby gives me time to go to the fabric store without the kids! lol!! with a small hoard of children, I appreciate the time alone, even if just to browse. Thanks for the list of men’s ideas too!
Congrats Molli! You’ve won a $10 5oo4 Gift Card. Please email [email protected] to claim. Thanks
This year I got tickets to a concert and he figured out the babysitter! Might be the best one yet (but I am wearing the wool slippers from 3 years ago as I type; that was a winner, too).
He bought me a treadle sewing machine. I still haven’t taken the time to learn how to use it, but I intend to when I retire. For now, it’s a treasured accent
